The Banner That Tells You Nothing, Yet Says So Much

Members of the Neocatechumenal Way gathered to proclaim

their way in Denver, Colorado

The banner pictured shows one of Kiko Arguello’s depictions of (himself as)

Jesus with the typical tactics to lure unsuspecting, vulnerable people to their

cult.

Kiko’s drawing of Jesus is quite flattering to Kiko!  Kiko has been trying to

suggest to his followers he is the second coming of Christ through his art for

decades.  Osservatorio covers this and the evil distortions of classic icons here: https://neocatecumenali.blogspot.com/2013/11/il-cammino-un-cancro-della-chiesa.html

Chuck White covers this and even Kiko’s  “Jesus Signature” here:

Once again the parish is on “mission”. They gather in a nearby square to proclaim

the good news, the kerygma, for all to hear.  Yes, that’s right - for all to hear about

their masturbation, fornication, abortion, abuse and cheating of their spouse, how

they are nothing but sin - but alas they heard a word!  “Are you suffering?....lonely?”

They will give you a community, you will suffer and like it, you’ll be surrounded by

people who will tell you the meaning of your miserable life: that god wants you to

be miserable because you’re a sinner.  Young and old, no matter, all their sins will

be proudly on display for any passerby to hear.

Lately all the controversy surrounding provocative natured shows aimed at

children (i.e the LGBTQ+), forget that, you can hear of depravity in a “christian”

context right here in Aurora, Colorado.  Who is this group wanting you to come

and listen, not ask questions, and put your brain on vacation?  They won’t tell

you it’s the Neocatechumenal Way, it certainly isn’t on any banner or posting.  Nor

do they tell you they are Catholic like others do and face ridicule and discrimination

(The Paulists, Christ in the City, Franciscans etc.)  Would an unbeliever know the

face of Jesus? Or rather, Kiko’s face?  At least they’re trying, you might say….but

why not be honest about it?  The saints proclaimed Jesus and His works. They

spoke of their sins, but more of the saving Grace of God. These gatherings serve

as a way for the Neocat to tell you they are sharing their faith and walking, but you

lowly Catholics of religiosity, sitting with the people on the streets, building a

relationship, meeting them where they’re at, getting to know them first, loving them

and serving them, feeding them, sheltering and clothing them first, no, no, they

are to come to you, to listen to you the Neocat Catechists!  Why listen to those

who are suffering and lonely when they should listen to the catechist with the

bullhorn; the songs and clapping and dancing?!  This is a self-serving mission.
